Airbushed Kate Winslet Vanity Fair Cover Photo Controversy December 2008

Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet is boiling mad over whispers that her steamy nude snapshots in the December issue of Vanity Fair have been heavily airbrushed.
Tabloids, like the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail, in Kate’s native Britain raked the star over the coals on Tuesday by enlisting the help of photography experts to bolster claims of excessive airbushing
Vanity Fair denies Kate’s shots have been retouched any more than usual.
“Kate looks fabulous,” Vanity Fair said in a statement Tuesday. “There was minimal retouching — just the smoothing out of skin tone and blemishes. She didn’t need anything more.”
A rep for the 33-year-old actress tells People Magazine that “she is in terrific shape and what you see is how she looks or she would never have agreed to pose for those shots.”
