A&E is broadcasting the final season of its reality hit The Two Coreys. The network has decided to pull the plug on the series, starring washed-up 80s-era child stars Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, after Haim suffered a substance abuse relapse during taping for the show’s second season. Corey H. spent most of Season Two battling a Valium addiction and Feldman simply isn’t going to take it anymore.

“He’s done, and I’m through with him for good,” Feldman says of his former pal.

Feldman’s manager and Two Coreys co-producer Scott Carlson has confirmed that the series’ second season will be its last:

“Right now, there will not be a third season of ‘The Two Coreys.’ Things can’t continue the way they did toward the end of the second season.”

The breaking point for the network came after a frustrated Haim suffered an emotional breakdown and drug relapse while filming Lost Boys 2: The Tribe with Feldman.

It was getting painful to watch: Haim has his drug problems stemming from low-self-esteem , the pressure of child stardom, and a past history of sexual abuse, but it seems that by his nature Feldman is mostly just a big jerk; his wife Susie - who should be trying to rein him in - not only encourages him to be that way but contributes her own “jerkiness” thereby helping to escalate bad situations. I was getting pretty p.o.’d at how they would both cut him down and make fun of him behind his back but then sometimes be nice to him. What a couple off ***holes.

i think its really sad that people this kid trusted did such horrible things to him and when he tried to get his life straight, the friends he had to help him were almost just as bad, helping someone is a thankless job, you do it because it needs to be done and you care, not just for the chance to make a lil more off him, i feel for corey haim, all the people around him are parasites.

You guys are forgetting that Feldman has been dealing with Haim’s drug problem since they were just kids. I didn’t watch the show, to be fair, but I’ve known addicts in my life and nobody short of a saint can deal with one forever. No matter how much you love someone, sometimes you just have to burn the bridge to keep their demons from ravaging your countryside.

I watched all the episodes. Corey Feldman has been a been a best friend to Corey Haim and has done all a best friend can do in these circumstances. Core Haim has to firstly recognise he has an addiction and want to do something about it. He does not want to do this at the moment despite the advice from all who know and love him. There is nothing Corey F and Susie can do until he recognises this and who can blame them not to be once again brought into that dark place that Haim has created. So give Corey F and Susie a break, they have been superb and to call them jerks or ruder or accusing them of making fun of Haim, is just plain wrong. It is obvious Corey Feldman ‘loves’ Haim and wants to right by him. My best wishes go to Corey Feldman, Susie and Corey Haim.

I was really excited that they had a show coming out. I watched each show and I was and stll am routing for corey h. I have always been a big fan of his. I hope that he gets a solid support system and gets another shot at acting soon. I really enjoyed seeing him on tv again. I also hope that corey f. Learns how to not be so critical of someone who he calls a friend especially since corey f. Has been in haims shoes. Oh yeah, and susie shut the hell up! Best wishes haim.

I think Corey F. is not a sincere person. He acts like a friend and calls himself Corey H.’s friend but he doesn’t act like a true friend at all. He talks about Core H. behind his back which is just plain devious. And he acts like he is superior to Corey H. But since he himself was a DRUG ADDICT he should be more compassionate. Corey H. should get better, then never speadk to Corey F. again. Corey F. is such a loser and his wife is not very nice either.

It is hard enough to raise a family and take care of your best friend. Corey F. has dealt with Corey H.’s problems for years. Leave Suzy alone. She means well. She’s just thinking about how hard it is on her husband to see his best friend in so much pain, that he uses drugs as an escape. And he, himself has been down that road before, and knows that’s no way to live.
