Advertisers Flee Following Glenn Beck “Obama Is Racist” Controversy
Glenn Beck is feeling the far-reaching effects of his remarks branding President Barack Obama. Beck, who returns from vacation today, created firestorm when he referred to Obama as a racist with “a deep-seated hatred for white people” on The Fox News Channel July 28. (That’s interesting being that Obama is the son of a white woman from Kansas.)
According to The Associated Press, atotal of 33 advertisers have pulled their ads from Fox News’ Glenn Beck Program following backlash from Color Of Change, a group that promotes political action among blacks and launched a campaign to get advertisers to abandon Beck.
