Who wants the unfortunate task of convincing Adrian Grenier that mermaids aren’t real?

According to The New York Daily News, the Entourage star has joined the Jessica Simpson School of Public Speaking after telling the tab that Darryl Hannah’s 1984 movie Splash triggered his lifelong love of our fine furry friends — ie: animals.

A reporter politely told the handsome star that mermaids aren’t even real, less more animals. To which Adrian responded: “Wait. Aren’t mermaids animals? Whatever, they still count.”

Excuse us Adrian, but when’s the last time you met a chick with a fin? How about never? …We’d love to hear his thoughts on unicorns.
