Adele Sex Tape Claims Trigger Lawsuit

Grammy Award-winning songbird Adele is filing suit against a French tabloid that published a scoop claiming that the “Rolling in the Deep” darling appeared in a raunchy eff flick with a former flame.

On Friday, Public magazine ran a crop of snapshots of an animated-looking woman they claim is Adele in the throes of passion with the same ex-boyfriend who inspired her blockbuster album, 21. The tab says the saucy snaps and accompanying sex tape were given to the by the unnamed ex.

Hogwash, says Adele! The singer’s peeps have officially denied her involvement.

Now it’s time to take the mag to the cleaners.

In an official statement issued last week, lawyers for the bee-hived beauty wrote:

“We are informed that the French magazine Public has today published images which it claims show our client in a sex tape. Our client has not appeared in a sex tape as claimed in the article. Our client does not appear in the photographs. Such claims are untrue and grossly defamatory. Our client is taking legal action in relation to this matter.”
