We’ve gotten glimpses of Adele this awards season at the Golden Globes and at the Grammy’s but tonight she was back in her element….performing live at the 85th Annual Academy Awards.

The 24-year old British powerhouse performed her Skyfall smash hit, which is nominated tonight for Best Original Song for the latest Bond franchise installment.

Adele joked on the red carpet that her “very heavy dress was going to be hard to breathe in,” saying that it weighed, “15 kilos.”

But it didn’t seem to matter…Adele sounded perfect as usual. When is the next album coming out Adele? It’s time for some new music.
