The reign of The Dark Knight is doing a very good job of resurrecting the career of the original Caped Crusader. Actor Adam West, the star of the 60s’ superhero series Batman is the latest celebrity hoffer considered for a spot on the upcoming seventh season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.

“Adam is in outstanding shape,” a source close to the 80-year-old told the New York Post Wednesday. “He works out an hour a day and walks with his big dog on his farm in Sun Valley, Idaho.” A rep for the former television star says “not definite yet, but is one of the people they are seriously looking at. They will decide on everyone on Aug. 25.”
