In a pop world where even C-level celebs gain a slice of web fame for baring all in leaked nudie pics, Adam’s stripping off for a more noble cause.

The “This Love” crooner goes nude to raise awareness about testicular cancer. in the Feb. 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan UK. Adam hopes the blush-inducing images — featuring a pair of well-manicured hands covering his…um… privates — will encourage more men to give themselves self exams.

“I spend most of my life naked,” Adam says. “In fact, I often have to be told by the people around me that it’s inappropriate to be as naked as I am. But I live in California, where it’s always warm, so why not?”

In case you were wondering, the hands reportedly belong to Adam’s girlfriend, model Anne Vyalitsyna.
