Adam Lambert’s back in primetime. Following his highly-blogged about performance during the 2009 American Music Awards, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert is ready to take center stage on the network that helped make him a star.

The glam rocker will perform his new single “Whataya Want From Me” on the season finale of FOX’s hit television talent competition, So You Think You Can Dance. The announcement comes just days after ABC lifted a rumored “ban” on Lambert by booking the singer to croon during a Dec. 10 appearance on The View.

Adam performs on SYTYCD Wednesday, Dec. 16.
