Adam Lambert’s signature pitch-black eyeliner is one of the things that makes this season’s American Idol runner-up so fab — and that’s exactly why the outspoken singer is considering making his big, black raccoon eyes permanent.

Glambert has been gabbing to anyone that will listen about his plans to undergo a “permanent makeup” procedure by having his eyeliner tattooed on.

The National Enquirer claims Adam, 27, is considering an eyeliner tattoo because he is tired of applying and re-applying the gunk several times a day — in fact, Adam even hates sitting while makeup artists touch-up the look.

According an Enquirer insider: “What’s making him hesitate is advice from his family….” Adam is reportedly eyeing (pun intended) a future in film and friends fear the tattooed eyeliner won’t translate well to the big screen.
