James quickly transitioned from the B2B marketing sector into content role with Demand Media. After six short months he helped launch the mobile news reporting section at Brighthub.com, before joining former TechCrunch writer Duncan Riley at Inquisitr.com. James took IQ from 6 million to 18.9 monthly pageviews before exiting the company to join Brand.com and News Headquarters, Inc. Under his guidance those companies increased customer traffic from 32,000 monthly readers to more than 3.2 million engagements per month in just several short months. James left Brand.com to join the team at Insider News Group, where he helped increase pageviews at Business2Community from 1.5 million readers to 6.8 million readers in his first 60 days. James recently left Insider News Group to join the team at PopCrunch.com.
