Hollister NYC Shut Down Due To Bedbug Infestation

Eek! Abercrombie & Fitch shut down a Hollister store in New York’s posh Soho District this week after the popular establishment became infested with bedbugs.

The bug problem was initially reported by a manager and an employee approximately three weeks ago, but the store refused to hire an exterminator. Hollister workers found themselves covered in bug bites as the infestation continued to grow worse. By the last week of June, the biting had become unbearable. The store was finally closed on Wednesday and is now undergoing intense extermination to remove the bedbugs. Abercrombie & Fitch spokesman Eric Cerny says the company hopes to reopen the location soon.

Since Hollister decided to neglect the problem, the employees and anyone who shopped there may have carried the bedbugs home with them. We smell lawsuits!
