ABC Passes Up “2012″ TV Show

ABC has passed on a development deal that would have brought a television adaptation of last fall’s castastrophe-related blockbuster 2012 to the small screen.
According to Entertainment Weekly, he drama series would have been a continuation of the apocalyptic film, depicting the epic aftermath of the disaster. ABC executives had originally hoped that the pilot would replace Lost, which ends its six season run in May.
