The 1999 teen comedy that starred Gabrielle Union, Julia Stiles, and a pre-Oscar-nominated Heath Ledger as a group of wild high schoolers is being re-developed for the small screen.

ABC Family has given the green-light to a half-hour version of 10 Things I Hate About You. Based on the film of the same name, the new series will shadow a teen feminist and her All-American younger sister as they struggle to adapt to the challenges of high school.
