ABC Courteney Cox “Cougar Town” Sitcom
ABC has greenlighted a new sitcom starring former Friends star Courteney Cox.
Courteney will play an attractive, middle-aged divorcee with a 17-year-old son on the proposed new series Cougar Town.
“Forty-year-old women on TV are so beautiful and perfect and wrinkle-free,” The Hollywood Reporter wrote Thursday. “People don’t do the reality of it, and there is a real comedy area about a woman who is talking about Botox, about having sex with the lights on and how her body is changing.”

I’ve been watching this from the first episode, I still can’t work out ‘why’. The character Courtney Cox plays is like ‘JD’ from Scrubs! I think Bill Lawrence just did ’search and replace’ on some of the old Scrubs scripts. They even have ‘Jordan’ played by the same actress. I know I cant be the only person who has seen the similarities. I need to get a life and stop watching and willing this to get better.
