ABC has done away with Alyssa Milano’s new sitcom, Single with Parents.

On Wednesday, ABC and ABC Studios pulled the plug on the comedy, which was scheduled to premiere in January, citing creative differences with the show’s production team.

Also chalking up the decision to an overcrowded slate of new midseason shows, production was postponed several times over disagreements about the show’s creative direction.

Single With Parents would have starred Alyssa as “Louisa,” a woman juggling her dysfunctional family, friends and boss, who was one of five pilots ABC ordered in August to series for midseason.
