On Thursday, ABC announced its early pickups for the 2009-2010 season, and in great news for dramedy fans, Ugly Betty got the green light for a fourth season despite earlier fears that the award-winning series may be cancelled.

Fans of “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” “The Bachelor,” “Brothers & Sisters,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Lost,” “Private Practice,” “Supernanny,” and “Wife Swap” will be glad to learn that all of these shows were also given early pickups by the Alphabet Network today.
