Aaron Ferguson Rachael Ray Anoxeria Lawsuit

Happy Fourth of July, Pumpkins! Hope you’re having a great holiday. Posting will be a little sporadic this weekend, but in the event anyone gets married, gets arrested, or drops dead, we’ll keep you posted. Let’s see what we’ve missed so far. A former accountant for the Rachael Ray Show has filed a $1 million lawsuit against the Emmy-winning daytime program, claiming he was forced out of his job because he has an eating disorder.
In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court this week, Aaron Ferguson says he was subjected to workplace discrimination after his employers discovered that he has suffered from anorexia for approximately six years. Alex says his supervisor repeatedly exhibited “hostile behavior” and made “vile,” comments, like “Anorexics are sick in the head,” and, “Anorexics should not be able to work.”
Ferguson’s lawyer, William H. Kaiser, said Thursday, “The things that were said in front of my client were hurtful, and once they knew he had a problem with it they should have stopped.”
