Side-splitting senior citizen Betty White, who celebrated her 90th birthday in January, will be honored this spring at the annual Friars Club roast.
On May 16, White will join the star-studded group that has been honored with a comedic twist by the New York City institution, including The Today Show’s Matt Lauer and comedy icons Lucille Ball, Johnny Carson and Billy Crystal.
“Those Friars may think I’m an easy mark but I have 90 years of comebacks waiting for them. This is such an honor to be roasted by the Friars Club. It will be an afternoon filled with dirty words, risqué jokes and sex talk…and that’s just what I plan on saying. I have no clue what the comedians will talk about.”
