Someone better cue Ripley’s Believe It or Not: Ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has been living on borrowed time since suffering a broken hip in a tragic fall last July, but the Moulin Rouge actress, 94, could leave behind more than fur coats and a chestful of diamonds when she drifts off to the grand burlesque club above the clouds.
Zsa Zsa’s never-too-busy-for-a-press-chat husband is looking into the possibility of hiring a surrogate to carry the couple’s child.
We don’t make this stuff up, folks.
Zsa Zsa’s ninth husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt, 67, visited a Beverly Hills fertility clinic Wednesday to store his sperm and plans to use the egg and womb of a surrogate to carry the couple’s child. Zsa Zsa has only one child Francesca Hilton – whose father was hotel magnate Conrad Hilton.
“It was always my wife’s dream for us to have a child … and even though we won’t be using any of her eggs, she would be thrilled to know I’m going through with this,” says Frederic, who has been married to the screen legend for more than 25 years.
Gabor has been in and out of the hospital since she fell out of bed while watching Jeopardy! and broke her hip. In yet another health setback, her right leg was amputated above the knee to fight an infection in January. The Prince hopes his wife can ward off The Grim Reaper long enough to meet her new child.
“I am so excited,” he added. “I hope Zsa Zsa is going to hang around for a while. I want her to see and hold the baby’s hand. She will be a mother again at 95. It was her wish to have a boy.”
Why is this man allowed to walk the streets without medication?
