Uncle Sam has set his sights on “Terminating” actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger following a new report which claims the California governor owes nearly $80,000 in back taxes.
The Terminator star, who has been Governor of California since 2003, has fallen behind in his payments from 2004 and 2005, according to papers filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court this week and obtained by TMZ.com.
Gov. Schwarzenegger owes the Internal Revenue Service $39,047 from 2004 and $40,016 from 2005.

Victoria Beckham needs surgery to remove the painful bunions taking up residence on her feet. The former Spice Girls star-turned-fashion designer has been advised by doctors to undergo a procedure to ease the painful condition — commony known as a deformity of the bone and joint which affects the big toe and can be extremely painful.

“Victoria is in agony with her misshapen feet,” a source told Britain’s Daily Mail on Friday.

Viva Forever, a musical based on the best-selling girl group of the 1990s, will open in London on Nov. 5, 2010, according to new reports. Named after their 1998 No.1 hit, the musical is currently in pre-production and being written by Kim Fuller — who also penned the script for the group’s 1997 film Spiceworld. Kim is the brother of former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller.

Viva Forever will chronicle the rise of the groups five members, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Emma Bunton, with the help of 14 of the band’s biggest hits.

Hip-shaking sensation Shakira is giving wannabe singers a shot at stardom — she’s launching a competition for up-and-coming musicians to open her world tour in 2010.
The “Give It Up To Me” singer has invited aspiring performers to apply via her website and called on fans to vote for their favorite acts. The finalists will then be viewed by the star and her team, who will select the best musicians to open different dates on her tour next year.
“The artists will open for Shakira live in big cities and virtually through a video performance in smaller markets. There are a lot of talented artists, and Shakira wants to help them by giving them part of her stage,” Shakira’s digital business partner Sean Wolfington tells The New York Post’s Page Six Column.
