“8 Simple Rules for Marrying My Daughter” Movie

8 Simple Rules for Marrying My Daughter is coming to the big screen. The motion picture, from the producers of The Devil Wears Prada, will serve as a sequel to nationally-syndicated columnist W. Bruce Cameron’s bestseller-turned-hit TV series 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter.

The 8 Simple Rules film is a semi-autobiographical comedy that will revolve around a divorced dad juggling a younger girlfriend and two daughters who both get engaged at the same time.
Cameron’s book 8 Simple Rules for Marrying My Daughter: And Other Reasonable Advice From the Father of the Bride (Not that Anyone Is Paying Attention) will be published by Simon & Schuster on April 8th.
