I am very happy to find information that can help me show people that my son Kevin, 8, still has a great chance of being someone famous and admired by all. Really happy to share my problem with moms and dads who believe their children can be totally normal. Our children will surely achieve adulthood and be happier than they are now among some ” fast teachers and friends”Thx for the information. Biro

im sure im dyslexic of some sort because im well i think im slow or just dumb :(
but im super shy too.
but seeing all these famous people that have learning problems makes me feel like i can achieve anything in the world, this has mademy day!

I am very much dyslexic I can’t tell time unless the hand is on the 12:00 or another number like 6:00 or something if its 2:35 I can’t tell tat way. I also have very bad mermory I don’t remember things too well and it frustrates me alot, I can’t count money fast enough like everyone else becuz I have a hard time adding it up. My dream is to become a singer,wirter,producer,Chairtyworker,Actress,model,designer, and so forth but feels like dysliexia will hold me back. I aslo can’t spell good as mention up there wit Liv Tyler but I wanna over come it jus dont know how.

Some dyslexics can visualize problems and dismantle them in their minds. At work I come up with most of the new ideas and solutions. I’m the only one I know who does this. In some ways it is a gift. Closed minded small thinkers keep people from achieving their potential by putting them down.

Dyslexia was hard to detect with my son. He was so smart and verbal, but had trouble reading. His teachers said it would “all click.” It didn’t. By 5th grade hadn’t learned to read and write in school and his self esteem was low. I put him in a boarding school for dyslexic kids and he learned through a course call “Reconstructive Language” how to read and write. Now in 9th grade he is advancing in physics classes… what would have happened if I waited for the schools to figure it out?
