7-Year-Old Darth Vader Plays The Imperial March On His Cello and It’s Too Cute

The Emperor would be so proud.

Watch the littlest Darth Vader you’ve ever seen play The Imperial March on his little cello, and marvel at the ways in which people express their overwhelming Star Wars love.

The tiny cellist in the above video is 7-year-old Ryan, a student at the Suzuki School of Newton. He decided that the best way to express his love for Star Wars was dressing up as the formidable Darth Vader, even though his teeny-ness sort of takes away from his ability to strike fear into the hearts of his enemies.

He’s also working really hard to play the iconic Imperial March on his cello, which is almost as big as him. It’s a fitting tribute to the might of the Empire, and to the strength of Darth Vader. Wherever Vader is now in shimmering Jedi heaven, we’re sure he’s smiling down at this young padawan.
