First there was the surprising news that Lady Gaga was the new star of American Horror Story: Hotel. Then there was Naomi Campbell who starred in season 1 of the hit show Empire and will also be seen in the next season of AHS. Talk about a career change!

The news of Lady Gaga starring in the new series of AHS surprised many, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what she brings to the table! The innovative musician has dabbled in acting before, starring in the likes of Machete Kills and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, but this recurring role is sure to show the best of Gaga’s talent, and further reminds us of her endless expertise.
2. Gina Carano
This former mixed martial artist will be starring in one of Marvel’s most anticipated movies, Deadpool, and has been using her flawless fighting skills and captivating presence in films The Fast and the Furious 5 and Haywire. With five films lined up until 2016, Carano is clearly in demand.
3. Abbey Lee Kershaw
You might have recognized Abbey Lee Kershaw as the face of Gucci, Versace, or Givenchy in the past, but now this former high fashion model is making her mark in acting. After getting the coveted role as one of the four women in blockbuster hit Mad Max: Fury Road, the Australian former model has acquired quite the diverse filmography already, with a role in the fantasy epic Gods of Egypt to the cool Nicholas Winding Refn movie directed by Neon Demon. This girl is definitely one to watch.
4. Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson
While 50 Cent has been acting for a while with roles in The Frozen Ground, to the defining Get Rich or Die Tryin’, it was his role in the TV show Power that really put 50 at the forefront acting-wise.

Tavi is a woman of many talents—from her editor-in-chief role of Rookie Mag to her recent performance in Broadway’s This is Our Youth. The young mogul will be making her TV debut in Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens and we can’t wait to see Tavi showcase even more of her talent.
