50 Cent’s Tweets have gotten the rapper in trouble again.
Officials at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have admonished the rapper for posting a series of TwitPics showing him brandishing a switchblade at a small dog.
“This is my dog Oprah Winfrey. I broke her leg cause the peta people threw paint on my coat. Fuck that!” 50 quipped in a caption scribbled beneath one photo.
The “In Da Club” star — who felt the wrath of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) after he posted snaps of a gun-toting assasin crashing a gay wedding party — uploaded the controversial shots to his page on the microblogging site on Monday and quicky attracted the attention of PETA president Michelle Cho, who chided the hip-hopster with: “Sorry @50 Cent but that pic is not funny considering how many calls we get from ppl (people) alerting us to dogs who really have been stabbed.”
The message was ‘retweeted’ on PETA’s official page – but the rapper angrily dismissed the criticism, replying: “Now this is to the PETA people: Stay off my motherf**king Twitter page I don’t give a fuck!”
50 also came underfire from Twitter followers after he posted a photo of a flight attendant — who he referred to as an “Ugly Ass Bitch” — earlier this month.
