“24″ Voted “Most Addictive TV Series”
Is 24 the “Most Addictive TV Series of All-Time?” You bet, say TV buffs who participated in a recent survey of more than 3,000 film and TV fans.
According to the poll, headed by LOVEFiLM.com, the show — which follows a day in the life of Jack Bauer of the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit — topped a list of the “Most Addictive TV Shows of All-Time,” with nineteen percent of voters casting ballots in its favor.
Lost bagged the second spot with 17% of vote, followed by long-running Must See TV Sitcom Friends.
“We’re a nation of comfort lovers and the thought of curling up on the sofa with our favorite programmes is a very tempting one,” Darren Bignell, Communications Manager of the website, said.
“Although crime doesn’t pay, as our list reveals, it most certainly pulls in the viewers, and shows like 24 have clearly found the right mix of suspense, drama and action to keep us coming back for more.”
