Michael Phelps may not have started the London Olympics with the Gold that he wanted but that isn’t stopping him from setting some new records.
Today at the Aquatic Center, Phelps took the silver in the 200m fly, earning his 18th medal overall. 14 gold, two silvers and two bronze, joining Soviet gymnast Larisa Latynina as the most decorated Olympian history. Phelps is thought to pick-up number 19 later this afternoon, as the US is the heavy-favorite to win Gold in the 4×200 freestyle relay. Read the rest of this entry »

Country superstar and The Voice coach, Blake Shelton, has apologized for a tweet that went awry.
“Does anyone know if the Eastern Box turtle is protected in Oklahoma? If so I didn’t just swerve to the shoulder of the road to smash one,” Shelton tweeted. Blake, known on Twitter for his interesting sense of humor, offended some of his followers when the turtle tweet went out. Blake then went on to get into a tweet battle responding, “Hey @turtlefeed.. The first time since 1996- the American Women are the Team Champions at the Olympic Games.
McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross, Alexandra Raisman, Gabrielle Douglas and Jordyn Weiber will never forget today, as they rolled there way to a Gold Medal.
