Janet Jackson says “Give Obama A Chance.” R&B legend Janet Jackson has lashed out against detractors who say the president has failed miserably in his attempt to govern the nation. In an interview with Times of London over the weeknd, the “Control” star defended President Barack Obama against Americans who believe he hasn’t accomplished anything during his time in office.

“I think people are giving him really such a hard time,” she said. “Everyone wants everything to turn around immediately. Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinksy, D-Penn. — became friends with Chelsea during their years as coeds at Stanford University. Chelsea’s future father-in-law Ed was released from federal prison last year after pleading guilty in 2002 to charges of bank and wire fraud.

“We’re sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged!” the couple said in a message to family and friends last Friday. “We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc.”
