Kristen Stewart, who plays a young Joan Jett in the upcoming biopic The Runaways, got a case of the snuffles after the iconic rocker gave her a hard time on set last week.
Kristen, best known for her role as Bella in the Twilight films, burst into tears after Joan harshly critiqued her performance in front of the rest of the cast.
“Joan just wants Kristen to play an authentic version of herself, so she needled her a little bit too much. But she apologized when she realized how upset Kristen got,” a spywitness told The NY Daily News Tuesday.
Drea De Matteo is joining the cast of Desperate Housewives, Entertainment Weekly reported Monday.
The actress, who won an Emmy for her work as Crazy Horse manager Adriana on The Sopranos, has inked a deal to appear as a series regular on the award-winning ABC series. Taking a cue from her old role on the HBO series, Drea will play the matriarch of a new Italian family moving to Wisteria Lane.

Tennis phenom Anna Kournikova got into a fight Saturday night in Las Vegas after an unidentified woman threw a drink at her.
The NY Post’s Page Six Column reports:
“Kournikova and her pals were partying at Lavo after attending the Hardbat Classic table tennis tournament when a woman at the next table “threw a drink at Anna. She felt Anna was invading her space,” our source said. Kournikova “sprung into action” and starting screaming at the woman and shoving her…”
