I don’t think that Chris Brown was the only one that shold have been held responsible. It was evident that both of them were fighting each other that night as well as other nights. I agree that this situation is one sided and that she is trying to sell more records and ruin Chis Brown career

Personally, I feel that the media has made more out of the situation than it deserved. Rihanna herself went on record saying she does not hate Chris nor does she desire to see his career over. She even hinted that the possiblities are still there for them to get together again. Yes we are being too hard on Chris if we are talking about boycotting his music and career. Of course, he needed to be dealt with in a court of law and he was. The judge made a decision as to what punishment was warranted. Everyone needs to respect that decision. He and Rihanna are both very young and I dont know if we know the entire story . No I am not saying it is excusable to hit someone-but just maybe this altercation was mutual and provoked. I would love to see Chris get another chance and I think he deserves it.

I have been where R was..and I agree with Kay Chris Brown does need to be punished, and I am glad that R has the strength to get up on stage and continue to preform and put out records. I don’t wish death on Chris but I think that he needs to understand that what he did is wrong and I believe that the courts should have punished him even more severly to make him an example to all men.

Kay wake up, you sound so ignorant. How can you wish death on anyone and for a mistake that a teenager made. Wow i hope God isn’t looking and judging thru your eyes. I pray for Chris Brown and Rihanna cause they are just kids and will learn but you are either hopeless or a bandwagon follower in either case the next time you make a mistake I want you to speak the same words you have for Chris Brown to yourself and I hope that you are never allowed to forget or try to make amends for that mistake just like you are proposing for Chris Brown. No I’m not saying that he should get a pass for what he, but neither should it be held against him for the rest of his life.

Gwen, be quiet. You would not say this if you were in an abusive relationship. I guess you believe that if a woman has on a short skirt she is at “fault” if she is raped.

Gwen, do spell check. Chris Brown needs to understand and be punished. His silly fans will buy his music. But hopefully he will lose contact like Ike Turner with the rest of world soon.

I am happy to see R out there and taking her life back. Good for her, but the outfit was kind of out there last. It was interesting to say the least.

Gwen watch what you type. Oh and by saying that it “shouldn’t be a one side it thing. I’s not condoning what he did…” is just ironic and incorrect.

I just wondering why Chris Brown wasn’t there are you guys still hung up on what happen between him and Rihanna. both was at fought this shouldn’t be a one side it thing. I’m not condoning what he did but he should still be able to continue singing and performing at music event, surely rihanna is getting all the sympathy.
