The ashes of late Nirvana star Kurt Cobain have been swiped from the Hollywood mansion of Kurt’s eccentric widow, rocker Courtney Love. Courtney kept the grudge legend’s ashes and a lock of hair in a pink teddy bear-shaped bag in her home. She was “horrified” to arrive home a couple of weeks ago to find the bag, along with several thousand dollars in jewelry and others valuables, missing. The 2008 MTV Movies Awards will air live from Hollywood on Sunday night, and singing burlesque troupe The Pussycat Dolls will be on hand to perform their new single “When I Grow Up.” The track will be featured on the girls’ forthcoming sophomore LP, in stores everywhere this Fall. Sarah Jessica Parker and her Manolos are kicking Indiana Jones’ butt at the box office. Opening day ticket sales for Sex And The City Movie unseated last week’s box office champ, Indy 4; banishing the action epic to second place and setting a new precedent for “chick flicks.” Yay for Girl Power! The four fashionistas from New York City, who grew to fame between 1998-2004 on the wildly-successful HBO comedy, sold approximately $26.9 million in tickets in the U.S and Canada on its first day in theaters on Friday. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull followed with about $12 million, according to preliminary estimates issued on Saturday. Sex And The City is well on it’s way to refuting early projections by topping this Weekend’s Box Office.

Actor Charlie Sheen married real estate agent Brooke Mueller, thirty, in a private wedding ceremony in Los Angeles on Friday night, according to media reports. It is the third marriage for the forty-two year old Two and a Half Men star. The couple had been engaged since July 2007.
In attendance for the nups were Charlie’s father, actor Martin Sheen, brother actor and director Emilio Estevez, and his toddler daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards, Sam and Lola.

Brooke Hogan has accused her mother of carrying on a fling with a teenage employee after discovered the fifty-four year Linda Hogan drinking water with three young boat workers in the kitchen of her beach house earlier month.
“Brooke was particularly engaged at seeing one of the guys-and accused him of being her mother’s boyfriend because Hulk had spotted them out together the previous week,” a National Enquirer insider says. “….She chased after him and demanded he leave her mother alone.”

Singer Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz is due to welcome the arrival of her first child on October 27th, 2008, The National Enquirer reports. Pete and Ashlee confirmed the star’s heavily-rumored pregnancy in a posting on the social networking site FriendsorEnemies.com on Wednesday.
