2008 Emmy Nominations

The nominations for the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced in Hollywood on Thursday.

AMC’s 1960s advertising drama Madmen and FX’s legal thriller mages made Emmy history Thursday as the first basic cable programs to gain best-series nominations. And Ryan Seacrest and Heidi Klum were nominated in the brand-spankin’ new Best Reality Show category.

The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be held Sept. 21st.
