The VMAs are on the move. MTV is moving it’s 2008 Video Music Awards ceremony from Las Vegas to Paramount Pictures Studios in Hollywood. The move comes after an action-packed 2007 show, which featured Britney Spears’ career-ending live performance of “Gimme More,” a backstage meltdown from Kanye West, and a fistfight between Kid Rock and Tommy Lee.

The MTV Video Music Awards airs live on September 7th.
