The self-rental business isn’t all Federline is doing to bring in some extra spending money. Federline also has several promotional deals in the works and is planning his own line of jeans and “beach jewelry.”
But of course these projects all take a far back burner to the August release of his new album, Crossroads. The album, according to Federline, “is sure to set the dance floors across the world on fire!”
Set them on fire… like by inspiring arson? If there’s anyone left out there who hasn’t yet heard the album’s song “Popozoa,” which was leaked to the press a few months ago, check it out and decide what kind of fires it will be setting for yourself. I especially like the close-ups in which Federline looks disoriented, surprised, and even confused by his own music.
The lovely Jennifer Beals was one of the celebrity grand marshalls at the San Francisco Pride Parade recently. This lovely lady stars on “The L Word” and gives us a lesbian figure to dream of (be you male or female) that cuts a neater figure than .. say .. Ellen. *rawr*

Despite being pregnant and naked on one of the world’s most popular magazines, she told Harper’s that “You don’t feel the most beautiful all the time.”
“I’m not supposed to be this big huge pregnant superstar,” Spears has said. “[People] expect [me] to look a certain way.”
Well, she definitely can’t rock the schoolgirl outfit that shot her to fame and stardom, but Spears claims once baby number 2 is out of the way, she’s “going to get really intense with [working out].”
Her plans also include heading back to the recording studio, where she hopes to work with Federline, 28.
I’m so shocked by this news that I just have to blurt it out.
Nicole Richie and Jeff Goldblum – together! I’m serious!
Well… maybe. What we do know, according to MSN’s Kate Giantis, is that the two stars recently had dinner together and now have nothing but good things to say about each other. Things like Richie saying, “I love Jeff Goldblum, there is something about him,” and Goldblum talking to a friend about Richie saying, “she’s sexy.”
Nicole Richie, who is less than one-half of Goldblum’s age (and about one-half his height too) is the polar opposite of many of his exes, who include Geena Davis and Laura Dern.
Granted, this isn’t exactly an engagement announcement, but the media better start working now on their cute-sy couple nickname (i.e. Brangelina and TomKat) just in case.
Aerosmith’s front man has always been a strange looking fellow. His features are bizarre, his clothes insane and he is addicted to scarves. What just occured to me is that Liv’s daddy is actually one of the very first emo boys. His hair is always in his face. He indulges in occasioanl eye make up. He wears tight-fitting feminine clothes and shows his midriff. Heck, in this picture he looks just like my 14 year-old sister’s best friend!
We see so many pictures of the starlettes and divas at fashion shows that sometimes it’s easy to forget that Hollywood is a metrosexual haven. Nowhere else in the world is fashion-obsessed, “clothes horse” behavior so acceptable in males. Here we see the well-groomed (and studly) George Clooney as he leaves the Georgio Armani fashion show. See guys, you can care about your clothes and still be a heterosexual, international sex-symbol. With rolemodels like these, why aren’t more fellows dressing so well?
Grammy-winning country singer LeAnn Rimes, 23, is doing well after having surgery for a leg infection on Tuesday.
“She is doing just fine,” Rimes’s rep, Diane Baron, said in a statement to the press earlier this week.
Suffering from a tear in her leg tissue that then became infected, Rimes was forced to cancel three performances on her “This Woman” tour, resulting in hundreds of disappointed fans.
Rimes is scheduled to begin touring again July 19th in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.
Actor Gary Sinese was in Washington D.C. last week to show his support for the continued efforts in the Middle East. While I’m not a fan of the political ramifications of “all that,” I do like seeing folks working for the causes they represent.
One little issue: actors have notoriously short attention spans! Look at the vacant-eyed stare (on Sinese). He looks bored and peevish. What genius thought that expression looked supportive?
Chef Emeril Lagasse looks on as Faith Hill signs a poster for charity while Faith’s heart-throb husband waits his turn. Faith is one star who keeps herself to herself, but look at that figure! There may not be many accusations of eating disorders in the country music world, but that lady is tiny, especially for have 3 (or is it 4?) kiddos. Maybe Emeril is there to fatten her up a bit. BAM!
What’s Jackie Chan been up to lately, you ask? Well, he’s definitely staying busy…
Take just last night, for instance. According to an Associated Press story, Chan jumped on stage and demanded a duet with Jonathan Lee, a Taiwanese singer-songwriter, in the middle of a concert.
In addition to demanding a duet, Chan also reportedly tried to direct the band (which tried several times to stop playing entirely), insulted members of the audience when they began heckling him, and (just in case it was unclear) announced on stage that he was drunk.
I should point out that Jackie Chan was an invited performance guest at Lee’s show the night before.
I’m guessing there won’t be many more of those invitations for Chan anytime soon.
