20. Big Hair and Sun-In

Obviously there are things we loved and do miss about the 80s, like The Dukes of Hazzard, hanging out at video arcades and pretend wrestling that seemed real. However, there are plenty of things that stood out during the 80s that should be put in a time capsule, shot into space and never mentioned again.

Starting with Big Hair and Sun-In: Copious amounts of Aqua Net hairspray allowed bangs to reach up toward heaven, Sun-In brassed it up and people wore brightly colored feathered roach clips in their hair – what’s not to love about all that? Pretty much everything. We’re a little concerned to see feathers creeping back up on us in modern hair extensions.
