Well, we can see what happened here: the translation obviously focused squarely on the movie’s content. In some ways, we think it’s rather catchy — if somewhat less poetic. And it’s kind of more relevant, especially as the surreal philosophy of the film is hard enough to follow without its bizarre English-language title. Still, next to “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” it does sound a bit bizarre…
