Not to mention David Spade in Rules of Engagement. Then there was Don Knotts as the landlord in Three's Company. Also there was Larry, Darryl and Darryl of Newhart. And If your adding Alf then might as well add Mr. Floppy of Unhappily Ever After and the balcony guys, Statler and Waldorf, from The Muppet Show. Not to mention Animal was creepy now that I think of it. Most shpw add creepy characters to add color to the show or to keep it alive as was the case with Flo in Alicie or arnold the pig in the Old Green Acres.
